AI Engineering summit in Melbourne

Before you go - Preparation
Draft a pre-event teaser post for LinkedIn (publish 1-2 days before)
Topic: what you're speaking on. "Multi-Model Collaboration with Claude Code: How to Measure What Actually Works." Anchor it in the production context, not the conference.
Draft the post-event LinkedIn post now, before you leave
Write the hook, the core observation, and the CTA. Leave [INSIGHT] and [PHOTO] placeholders to fill in after. Personal confession format.

During the event - Capture
Film your own talk (full recording, unedited)
Even if the organiser is recording, get your own copy. This feeds Reels, LinkedIn video, and quote clips across Instagram and Threads.
Take a photo with each speaker you interact with
At the speaker table, in the hallway, beside the event signage. Tagging them later in a post doubles reach via their network.
Take 5-10 crowd and venue shots
Full room, screen visible, audience looking engaged. These anchor the post in physical reality. A social post with a real photo outperforms a headshot post by a measurable margin.
Note 3-5 specific insights with exact numbers or counterintuitive claims
Each insight becomes raw material for a future LinkedIn post.
Get a photo with the event signage / stage backdrop with your name visible
Smth like "Jack Rudenko, CTO MadAppGang, AI Engineer Melbourne" visible in the frame.

After the event - Publish
Fill in the pre-drafted LinkedIn post with real photo and the single sharpest insight
One post. One insight. The most specific observation from the day is the post, not a roundup.
Publish the main post within 48 hours of the event
After 72 hours the event is news from last week. The window for relevant reach is narrow.
Tag each speaker whose photo or insight you used
Tag them in the post to double reach via their network.
Post a Threads observation the same day as the event
One line. Specific number or claim from a talk.
Connect on LinkedIn with every speaker and practitioner you had a real conversation with
Send the request the same evening. Reference the specific conversation, not "great to meet you." These are warm ICP connections.
Schedule the remaining footage as 2-3 additional posts across the following 2 weeks
Don't dump everything at once. One post from the event can run per week.
